A Message from Silver Airways’ CEO regarding COVID-19
To Our Valued Silver Airways Customers:

We appreciate you traveling with Silver Airways. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable and customer-friendly airline transportation. This is true every day, including during the heightened public health concerns regarding coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are in continuing contact with or monitoring closely information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Homeland Security, TSA, U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Office of the United States Vice President and other federal agencies and global health organizations.

We are committed to updating you with the latest information and support, as well as providing you flexibility in your travel planning. In addition, we want to provide you with important information on the high standards of procedures we are following in maintaining and cleaning our aircraft and facilities on a daily basis, which comply with the latest regulatory requirements and guidance.

Here’s what Silver Airways is doing and a few recommendations to assist you:

Before You Fly:
To give you the greatest flexibility with your travel plans, we are posting updates on Silver Airways’ website at SilverAirways.com, including options for rebooking your travel plans if required.

On the Ground:
In addition to regular communication with national and international authorities and federal agencies, we are in contact with the airports and communities we serve. We are following strict aircraft cleaning procedures that meet or exceed all regulatory guidelines, including daily disinfection of the aircraft environment. Hard surfaces, including lavatories, tray tables, seats, window shades, armrests and galleys are thoroughly cleaned daily with high-grade disinfectant sanitizing cleansers. If we are advised by the CDC of a person who has traveled on board and is potentially exhibiting coronavirus symptoms, per protocol, that aircraft will be taken out of service and sent through a decontamination process.

In the Air:
Our aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art circulation systems, similar to those found in hospitals, which use a high-efficiency (HEPA) filter to circulate the air and remove more than 99 percent of airborne particles. In addition, our inflight team is utilizing gloves and additional sanitizers to limit person-to-person contamination.
